“We help people lift themselves out of poverty”

We bring about positive change by tackling poverty head on, by fulfilling physical needs such as food and warmth, improving mental health and providing the skills and confidence to help people lift themselves out of poverty, self-manage mental health and be a positive part of the community.

In addition to helping people financially at time of crisis with physical requirements, we provide guidance on accessing education, benefits and employment to help with self-sustainability, as well as training on digital communications to help with employability.

We address feelings of isolation and mental health through early intervention initiatives such as a peer to peer befriending service, and
our Drop-In Centre ‘Listening Ear’ where assessments are carried out, often by
people with lived experience.

Need a listening ear or someone to point you in the right direction? Volunteers will be on hand to help. You can also benefit from our Food Bank service without a third-party referral.
