There is a range of marginalised people within our community that we offer our services to, including over 1,500 who are from an ethnic minority; this is among the highest in Northern Ireland, with 11% born outside of the UK and Ireland. We also work closely with people who are impacted most by the pandemic including those that are young, older, unemployed, disabled and have low income.

We bring about positive change by tackling poverty head on by fulfilling physical needs such as food and warmth, improving mental health and providing the skills and confidence to lift themselves out of poverty, self-manage mental health and to benefit from the rewards of being a positive part of the community.

We deliver 300 fresh meals weekly and provide a food bank.  Training is also provided to help people independently prepare nutritious meals; cooking utensils and ingredients are provided, as well as help to grow fruit and vegetables to facilitate self-sufficiency and to enjoy the benefits of sunshine and nature. We also provide essential everyday items such as fuel, hygiene packs, up-cycled furniture, baby care products and pre-loved clothes. This all makes people feel happier and part of a caring community.
